Calle Verde is a flamenco group based in Vancouver, BC, performing at festivals, theatres and tablaos. Anchored by tradition, but not necessarily traditional, this trio presents provocative, collaborative dance and music that celebrates the interplay between dancer, singer and percussion.
Lessons in Flamenco: the legacy of oscar nieto
Thanks to a Canada Council for the Arts grant, Michelle joined forces with Oscar Nieto - award-winning dancer, choreographer, singer, teacher and mentor to document some of his approaches to teaching and learning flamenco.
